Work to be inspected

Mr & Mrs Voukelatos are happy to accept the quote regarding the repair of the wall reserving the right to have the work inspected by their agent or by their Structural Engineers to see that the work is carried out correctly and meets professional standards.

“As discussed on the telephone today, I am happy to accept the quote from Advanced Underpinning Pty. Ltd regarding repair of the wall provided:

the lessee is up to date with rent payment (i.e. May and June) before the agreement is signed and the initial $3,650 is paid.

we need to know time of completion of the work.

we reserve the right to have the work inspected at each stage of completion by L.J. Hooker or our structural Engineers (Butgher and Blunt) to see if the work is carried out correctly and meet professional standards. Also, the Council should view work once completed to determine if it’s ok.

rent is to be paid on time whilst work is being carried out otherwise progress payments will be delayed.

Finally, if the lessee does not pay rent owing this week, we should take whatever action is necessary to lock out the lessee and start to look for a new lessee. I think you’ll agree we are both getting a bit tired of all the pussyfooting around by Mr Grant.
